Garbage Greek is Voodoo Garage Rock from Columbus, Ohio. All music by Garbage Greek should be played LOUD AS HELL!
In January 2015, Lee Mason (Comrade Question) recorded a demo of ten songs. The demo has drums with no cymbals, bass, loud fuzzed out guitar, and vocals inspired by Iggy Pop and Los Saicos. The demo called "Garbage Radio" was released on Bandcamp in August of 2015.
In the summer of 2015, Lee recruited Patrick Koch and Stefan Doke (from Comrade Question) on Bass and Lead Guitar, Jason Winner (from Indigo Wild) on Drums, and Adam Scoppa (from Psychic Wheels) on Drums/Percussion. In 2016 the band recorded and mixed a fourteen song album called "Thank You for Choosing Evil" which consisted of all songs from "Garbage Radio" and an additional four composed by the whole group. Following tours around the Midwest and East Coast, they went back into the studio with Keith Hanlon at Musicol in Columbus, Ohio in August of 2017.
Prior to the release of the new album, Stefan Doke and Adam Scoppa were unavailable to tour with the band, and will continue to work on their own projects. Scoppa will appear on stage with the band from time to time.
On June 8, 2018 Garbage Greek released their second album called "It's Not Always Easy Being a Ghost" featuring eleven new tracks.
